I decided my senior year at SIUC, where I majored in Fine Art, that I wanted to be a photographer.
I started my business in 2010. I Left my job as a k-12 art teacher in 2014, and never looked back..(well sort of, I still find myself teaching art randomly somewhere, almost always, but...I'm not longer an official teacher!)
Through all of the changes in my life, the one constant has been running this photography business. To me, this isn't just what I do. It's who I am. Photography combines my love for creating, with my love for making memories, and reliving them through photos.
I LOVE spending time with my husband and kiddos! Fall Weather, country concerts, a good patio dinner, rescue dogs and iced tea are what make me happy!
